At New Haven, we transcend the conventional residential treatment model. Join us in this meaningful journey where passion converges with purpose, and together, we'll make a lasting difference!

Responsibilities

  • Individual Sessions: Conduct individual therapeutic sessions with students to address and explore their unique needs, challenges, and emotional well-being.
  • Family Sessions: Facilitate family therapy sessions involving students and their parents to foster open communication, resolve family dynamics, and promote healing.
  • Group Therapy Leadership: Lead specialized group therapy sessions, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment among students, encouraging personal growth and interpersonal skills.
  • Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning: Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
  • Clinical Meetings and Supervision: Engage in regular clinical meetings and supervision sessions, contributing to ongoing professional development, sharing insights, and receiving guidance.
  • Documentation and Charting: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapeutic sessions and student progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Family Weekend Involvement: Actively participate in family weekends, offering therapeutic support to families, and contributing to the overall healing process.
  • Camping Trips: Organize and lead two-day camping trips twice a year, providing opportunities for experiential learning, building relationships within families, and creating memorable therapeutic experiences.
Qualifications
  • Education Required: Master's degree in a behavioral science field such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • Licensure Preferred: Fully licensed (LCSW, LMFT, LCMHC); associate licensure (CSW, AMFT, ACMHC) also accepted.
  • Therapeutic Passion: Committed to client growth through collaborative, team-based care.
  • Clinical Experience: Preferred two years of therapy experience, including individual, family, and group sessions.
  • Residential Expertise: One year of experience in a residential setting using relational and experiential modalities is a plus.
  • Professional Readiness: Skilled in treatment planning and adjustment; must pass a state background check.
  • Credentialing Preparedness: Must have or be willing to create a CAQH profile and obtain an NPI number.
Benefits
  • Grow with Purpose: Access cutting-edge training and mentorship from exceptional leaders committed to your development.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Enjoy medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, plus 401(k) with company match and paid parental leave.
  • Time to Recharge: Benefit from paid holidays and a generous PTO accrual plan.
  • Meaningful Impact: Build lasting relationships with adolescents and families, bringing joy and healing across generations.
  • Supportive Culture: Join a nationally recognized team that values empathy, trust, service, growth, and results.
  • Career Advancement: Thrive in a structured environment with long-term growth opportunities and ongoing support.
  • Relocation Support: Assistance may be available to help you make a smooth transition.
