The Youth Mental Health Tracker (YMHT) is a comprehensive and actionable mental health and wellbeing data platform designed to empower equitable, youth-centered solutions. A project implemented by Surgo Health, in partnership with Pivotal Ventures, SHOWTIME / MTV Entertainment Studios, along with an expert and youth advisory board. Our mission is to provide actionable data that equips communities, policymakers, and healthcare providers to foster environments where young people can truly thrive.

Role Requirements

We are seeking a consultant to provide strategic support and expertise for the YMHT project during a pivotal project phase to help translate our data into concrete, on the ground change.

• Bridge Research Findings Translation and Action : Serve as a translator between data insights and implementation strategies, with a focus on meaningful, real-world applications. Work with our data analysis team to identify new angles and stories for media and partnership outreach.
• Amplify Research Findings : Lead efforts to make YMHT insights actionable and accessible, ensuring findings resonate with key stakeholders, including policymakers, funders, advocacy orgs and practitioners.
• Drive Adoption :   Use a variety of strategies and tactics to support the utilization of YMHT data and tools across various sectors and stakeholders.
• Guide Strategic Conversations : Offer expertise on key aspects like future data collection and dissemination strategies to enhance project impact and visibility.
• Mental Health Policy and Implementation Expertise : Possess deep knowledge of mental health policy and programs and the mental health landscape to help guide our project to reach maximum impact
• Experience working with policy makers and programs in mental health

Duration : ~6 months, at least 15-20 hrs / week
