Job description
A company is looking for a Coding Educator.
Key Responsibilities
Develops curriculum and materials for documentation training programs
Conducts quality assurance reviews and assesses coder comprehension
Reviews and responds to coding questions and resolves issues related to patient inquiries or denied services
Required Qualifications
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification
Two (2) to five (5) years' experience in a relevant role
94% accuracy on the organization's coding test
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree in a Health Information Management program (preferred)
Previous experience with physician coding (preferred)
