Become a part of our caring community and help us put health firstJob Description SummaryThe Senior Coding Educator identifies opportunities to improve provider documentation and creates an education plan tailored to each assigned provider.The Senior Coding Educator is responsible for creating and executing the risk adjustment strategy for each provider groups.Analyzes data and reporting and provides educational sessions with providers aimed at quality of care, documentation and coding improvements.Collaboration with relationship owners and HQRIMonitors and develops strategy with leader and Relationship Owner, tailor’s provider group webinars and discussions based on various MRA topics.Creates compliant PowerPoint Presentations tailored to group strategyUse your skills to make an impactRequired QualificationsAAPC CPC (Certified Professional Coder) Certification2 or more years of medical record review knowledgeFamiliar with coding guidelines (i.e. ICD-9 / ICD-10)Live in a Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Central Standard Time (CST)Comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPointAnalyzing Data to drive process improvementExperience with public speaking and presentation skillsPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degreeCertified Risk Coder (CRC)Experience interacting with healthcare providersMedicare Risk Adjustment knowledgeAnalyzing data to build unique education strategies in PowerBiAbility to work independentlyAdditional InformationWork at home - with ability to travel (up to 25%) to surrounding provider officesAs part of our hiring process, we will be using an exciting interviewing technology provided by HireVue, a third-party vendor.
