The Health Equity Program Lead will provide project management and daily operational oversight of the Community Health Programs for Minority Health grant. The Program Lead will assist the Health & Equity Strategist to assure efficient and timely communication with all grant partners and stakeholders. The Program Lead will conduct community outreach as related to the grant and assure timely reporting of performance documents in accordance with funding guidelines. The Program Lead may participate and facilitate health equity trainings, as necessary, while also coordinating and maintaining working relationships with stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in public health, health sciences, or a closely related field. Four (4) years of professional experience in project or program management in a health care field or public health field. Candidates with a Masters Degree in Public Health preferred.
Note: The Civil Service Department defines professional experience as paid experience gained after the receipt of a Bachelor's Degree in a position that required a Bachelor's degree upon entrance. Civil Service reserves the right to determine what is considered to be professional experience. A Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in public health, health sciences or a closely related field may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience. Prior to appointment, the hiring agency is required to verify education claimed by the applicant to qualify for this classification. If selected for hire, applicants must provide original documents of their qualifying credentials to the hiring agency prior to their start date in this job classification.
