Job / Position Description

General Experience Expectations : Typically has seven (7) to 10 years of IT work experience, including four (4) or more years managing projects, and experience with projects in multiple technologies and businesses.

The Business Analysts will serve as the principal line of communication for the project team. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows :

• Gathers and analyze information and specifications needed for the project team.
• Engage with stakeholders to identify and document business needs, objectives, and challenges.
• Conduct workshops, interviews, surveys, and meetings to gather requirements.
• Analyze and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional requirement specifications (FRS).
• Prepare use cases, process flow diagrams, and system mockups to visualize solutions.
• Maintain documentation for future reference and audit purposes.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams.
• Facilitate effective communication to ensure all parties have a clear understanding of requirements.
• Conduct presentations and walkthroughs for stakeholders to validate requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
• Test proposed solutions to verify they meet business needs (user acceptance testing - UAT).
• Identify gaps and issues in the proposed solutions and suggest modifications.
• Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements or optimizations.
• Implement best practices and standards in business analysis and documentation; and
• Provide insights into trends and patterns through data analysis.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required. Alternatively, equivalent work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis, when applicable.
