About the Facility
This large adult correctional facility provides psychological services to a diverse and clinically complex inpatient population. The facility supports clinicians in delivering diagnostic assessments, psychological evaluations, crisis intervention, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, suicide risk assessment, and competency-related services. Clinical operations are structured within an established correctional mental health framework to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

About the Clinician's Workday
The clinical psychologist will provide full-time, on-site psychological care to an adult inpatient population within a correctional setting, working a guaranteed weekday schedule of either 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Daily responsibilities include evaluating referrals from clinical staff, providing individual psychotherapy and counseling, conducting mental status and suicide risk assessments, and determining the appropriate level of care or observation as clinically indicated. The clinician will coordinate referrals to psychiatry and other appropriate professionals as needed. No call coverage is required for this position.
