We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Healthcare Litigator to take on a challenging role within our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of healthcare litigation, including but not limited to, medical malpractice, healthcare fraud, and abuse cases. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex litigation matters in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will be a passionate litigator with a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, ready to take on a role that will test their legal acumen and strategic thinking.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Handle all aspects of healthcare litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial execution.
2. Provide legal advice and guidance on healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act.
3. Develop and implement effective litigation strategies to protect the interests of our clients in the healthcare sector.
4. Negotiate settlements in the best interest of our clients, balancing the potential risks and benefits of litigation.
5. Collaborate with other members of the legal team, including paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys, to ensure efficient case management.
6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in healthcare laws and regulations, and advise clients accordingly.
7. Represent the firm and its clients in court, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
Qualifications :
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. Current license to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a strong emphasis on healthcare litigation.
4. Proven track record of success in the courtroom, with the ability to handle high-pressure situations with poise and professionalism.
5. Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop effective litigation strategies.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
7. In-depth knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and False Claims Act.
8. High level of integrity and professional ethics.
9. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
10. Proficiency in legal research software and other legal technology tools.
