Overview : Insight Global is seeking to hire a large team of Biomedical Validation Technicians to support a Medical Device company in the Greater Pittsburgh area. We currently have 60 openings for the team. This position will start as a 6 month contract through our company and ideally convert to a fully time position with our client at the end of the contract. Description : The Biomedical Inventory / Validation Technician works as a part of an inventory validation team and provides clinical equipment services under the close supervision. Duties include, but are not limited to, inventory projects at new customer sites, validation and inspection of clinical equipment for completeness, mechanical and electrical safety, and proper operation. The individual also performs planned maintenance inspections, calibrations, and repairs of General Biomedical non-life support equipment.

Responsibilities

• Travel Required - attend all new site inventory validation trips at customer site
• Follow process for matching & tagging medical equipment at new customer site
• Performance Verification of general biomed equipment
• Assist w / inventory validation for scope expansion projects
• Participate on inventory audit teams to existing TRIMEDX sites

What We Are Looking For

Compensation : $18 / hour to $22 / hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
