Job Description

WHO YOU ARE

As Controller, you will report directly to the CFO and spearhead financial strategies that fuel our mission to transform non-emergent 911 responses through innovative telehealth solutions. Your experience as a private equity or venture-backed Controller with expertise in financial management and revenue cycle optimization in a physician practice / MSO / IPA environment will be instrumental in driving our growth as we partner with EMS providers nationwide to reduce unnecessary ER visits and improve patient outcomes. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, with a particular focus on revenue cycle management, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in scaling our financial operations as we continue to grow and innovate in the healthcare space. If you are passionate about healthcare finance and have the skills to drive financial excellence in a dynamic, private equity or venture-backed environment, we encourage you to apply!

  • Proven track record in managing complex revenue cycle operations in healthcare settings
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and experience with accounting software
  • COMPETENCIES

At RightSite Health, we are big believers in competencies. Competencies are different from technical skills or experience. Technical skills describe the 'what' you do, whereas competencies describe 'how' you do it. Following is a list of competencies required for success in this role.

Analytical and Problem Solving : Possesses strong analytical capabilities to interpret financial data, identify trends, and solve complex financial problems. Able to think critically and develop innovative solutions to optimize financial processes and improve overall business performance.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Skilled in presenting financial reports and recommendations to executive management and board members.

Compliance and Ethics : Ensures adherence to financial regulations and best practices. Takes responsibility for the annual financial audit and manages complex legal structures, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity.

Financial Expertise : Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis. Proficient in interpreting complex financial data and translating it into actionable insights for strategic decision-making.

Operational Agility : Demonstrates the ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs, willingly engaging in hands-on work when necessary. Shows a proactive approach to overcoming challenges, flexibly shifting between strategic oversight and tactical execution. Exhibits a "whatever it takes" attitude, leading by example and fostering a culture of resilience.

    Benefits

  • The opportunity to make a tangible impact on community health while working for a dynamic, mission-driven organization
  • Competitive base salary and bonus structure
  • Market-competitive healthcare coverage, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability
  • The opportunity to work alongside talented and professional colleagues with the ability to grow
  • OUR GUIDING VALUES

At RightSite Health, we do more than profess our values. We practice them through an agreed-upon and shared set of behaviors that make up our DNA. We are clear about what is important to us, and we take care that our intentions, words, thoughts, and behaviors align with those values.

  • Teamwork : We have the courage to ask for help and fearlessly share information with team members. We are driven to help each other and share in the wins and losses.
  • Integrity : We are respectful, genuine, and openly hear and speak the truth. We are confident in our own abilities, but we think of others first.
  • Customer Focus : We deliver value and treat our customers with the same care, compassion, and empathy we would expect ourselves. We are committed to improving the lives of our customers, their customers, and each other.
  • Tenacity : We recognize ambiguity and discomfort are part of success, and approach change with positivity. We accept adversity, overcome obstacles, and never give up.
  • Ownership : We take personal accountability for our actions and results and focus on solving the problem instead of assigning blame. We are free to place bets and embrace failure for its feedback and experiences.
  • Critical Thinking : We start with why, listen carefully and investigate thoroughly before drawing conclusions. We think slow, not fast, in search of elegant and simple solutions.
