Job descriptionBachelor’s degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field. Proven experience as a Fleet Data Analyst or similar role, with a focus on report generation and data analytics. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets. Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Strong attention to detail and good critical thinking skills Great communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and improve trusting relationships Strong work ethic and commitment to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Willing to travel up to 10%
Description
The Fleet Data Analyst will be designing, developing, and implementing timely and accurate data / reports using MS SQL, MS Reporting Services, Power BI and other system tools to support the fleet business operations. This role is responsible for master data, report development, report maintenance, tracking and trending fleet analysis and interpreting data to drive informed decision-making, optimize fleet performance, and streamline operational processes. You will analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve fleet efficiency and effectiveness. This opportunity represents Shoppa's Material Handling and requires professionalism, great attitude, good communication skills and world class customer service.
- Analyze and manage master data, design and build database queries and deliver reports and dashboards using business intelligence and reporting tools adhering to established best practice frameworks and standards
- Actively participate in and influence discussions around reporting requirements, infrastructure needs, and develop reporting solutions to meet fleet objectives
- Analyze business processes; analyze source data; produce functional specifications, data flows and business rules; and assist with the implementation of those specifications
- Streamline reporting by automating queries, etc. and / or placing reports in production to minimize manual efforts
- Develop and track KPIs and provide actionable recommendations to improve fleet efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyze data through data mining and data auditing to provide actionable insights to fleet operations and contribute to setting data strategy
- Ability to spot trends, anomalies, and data discrepancies
- Compiles business intelligence to support actionable recommendations.
- Provide monthly, quarterly, annual reports to management and external customers
- All other duties and projects as assigned
