Controller - Healthcare

Position: Controller Location: Atlanta, GA Company: Large, specialized healthcare organization operating across multiple states

Career Path:

Potential for career progression to CFO as the company expands

Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Close: Manage and oversee the monthly closing process for accurate and timely financial reporting.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly financial statements, including balance sheet accounting and operational revenue reports.
Accounts Payable: Oversee the accounts payable function.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for each division, ensuring alignment with the company's financial goals.
Partnership with Directors: Collaborate with division directors to educate and guide them on using financial metrics to drive business growth. Regular monthly meetings are expected.
Revenue-Generating Mindset: Work closely with leadership to identify and drive revenue-generating opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Certification: CPA is mandatory.
Experience: Extensive experience with multi-site healthcare physician practice accounting.
Expertise: Multi-state operations, including sales and use tax.
Software Proficiency: Experience with Great Plains Dynamics, Salesforce, and NextGen.

Compensation:

Base Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 (depending on experience and qualifications).
Bonus: Potential bonus ranging from $20k to $40k of the base salary.
Benefits: Excellent healthcare benefits, including participation in the company's profit-sharing program.

This role is a key part of the management team, with significant influence on the company's financial direction.
