As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients, staff, visitors, and / or patients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to assist in maintaining a controlled environment.
Document and report observations, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
Assist with access control, visitor management, and / or wayfinding as needed within the healthcare environment.
Collaborate with facility staff and local authorities as required during incidents and emergency response activities.
Minimum Requirements :
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
CPR certification is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
