About the Job
We are a Birmingham, Alabama- based healthcare management company in search of an In-office Client Representative. The RCM Client Representative for Healthcare duties may include one or more of the following : processing insurance payments, following up on denied claims, and resolving credit balances. THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Processes the insurance component of a patient's obligation through claims processing and payment rules.
- Bills claims appropriately.
- Experience using Nextgen.
- Follows up on denied claims by performing appeals and denial recovery procedures.
- Works denied claim lines and no response claims to resolve outstanding accounts.
- Analyzes credit balances on patient accounts and resolves.
- Insurance verification.
- Responds to refund request letters from insurance carriers.
- Notify supervisor of any problem accounts, CPT codes being denied by specific insurance companies, continued error in charges and any other hindrance to their productivity or collection of A / R.
- Compliance is a condition of employment and is considered an element of job performance.
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
- Demographic Processing.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Provide excellent customer service through phone calls and emails.
- High level of time management and organizational skills.
- End of the month report generation and list of all accounts not worked.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
