As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Women's Healthcare of Norman, I perform essential nursing duties such as administering medication, assisting with patient care, and maintaining a safe clinical environment. Responsibilities :
- Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
- Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
- Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
- Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
- Documents nursing care and activities.
- Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
- Assists with the training of other staff.
- Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters.
