About the Role
We're seeking a Healthcare Case Manager / Patient Advocate to join our client's compassionate team. In this role, you'll handle member grievances and complaints with professionalism and empathy, ensuring fair outcomes while maintaining full regulatory compliance.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in social work, healthcare case management, or patient advocacy who thrives on problem-solving and improving patient experiences.
What You'll Do
- Manage and resolve member grievances and complaints from start to finish.
- Conduct investigations , document findings, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Partner with care teams, providers, and internal departments to resolve complex issues.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with members or their representatives.
- Identify trends, patterns, and high-priority cases for escalation and follow-up.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field. (MSW / LCSW highly preferred)
- Experience in case management, patient advocacy, or a managed care setting.
- Epic EMR or similar healthcare system experience preferred.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations
- Fully remote after training (training in Pasadena, CA)
