Join Amazon Healthcare Finance Operations Services as a Revenue Cycle Manager focused on transforming healthcare financial operations. In this role, you will serve as a key leader in optimizing revenue cycle management, with particular emphasis on back end revenue cycle processes (billing, collections, denial management and overall Accounts Receivable (AR) management). You will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative programs to improve clean claim rates, reduce denials and improve overall collections. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop scalable solutions that support Amazon Health's continued growth. Through data-driven insights, you will identify opportunities and implement industry best practices to drive operational excellence.
The ideal candidate brings strong operational leadership experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, demonstrates exceptional analytical capabilities, and has a proven track record of driving process excellence and financial improvements.
The Finance Operations organization works with every part of Amazon to provide procure-to-pay, revenue-to-receipt, real-estate and facilities, operations accounting and operations excellence services with the highest level of controllership at the lowest cost to the company. We provide the backbone systems and operational processes which completely, accurately, and validly pay Amazon’s suppliers, invoice our customers and report financial results. Amazon is quickly building the Finance Operations capabilities in the healthcare industry by creating the Healthcare Finance Operations Services.
Key job responsibilities
In this strategic role, you will oversee a comprehensive portfolio of revenue cycle initiatives, focusing primarily on enhancing back-end revenue cycle efficiency, accuracy, and automation capabilities to reduce denials and improve collections. Your responsibilities will include building strong operational partnerships and leveraging data analytics to identify process defects that contribute to denials, followed by designing and implementing innovative solutions to eliminate these challenges. You will play a crucial role in improving the customer financial experience through targeted excellence initiatives.
As a technology-forward leader, you will lead the evaluation and implementation of new front-end tools, and contribute to emerging AI initiatives, and explore the use of robotic process engineering (RPA) to remove low value work tasks. Your expertise will be essential in developing and executing detailed process improvement plans that emphasize standardization, scalability, and automation, with specific focus on enhancing time-of-service collections, reducing claim denials, improving customer satisfaction metrics, and minimizing bad debt write-offs.
Working collaboratively across the organization, you will represent accounts receivable interests in upstream projects and partner with business stakeholders on optimization efforts. You will be responsible for developing strategic recommendations to support ongoing system design and automation initiatives. Additionally, you will coordinate cross-functionally to analyze data drivers, develop comprehensive insights, and present clear, actionable findings to key stakeholders.
