Job Title : Technology Support Specialist
Location : New Bedford, MA (on-site)

Reports To : IT Manager
About the Role :
We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Technology Support Specialist to join our IT team. In this role, you will work with the IT leaders and teammates to learn and support our legacy systems as we migrate to Oracle, you will also be directly involved with the migration and supporting future applications and platforms.
Provide help desk support to internal users with IT related software and hardware issues to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update applications in our current legacy system.
- Respond to and resolve user inquiries and issues via ticketing systems, phone, email, or in person.
- Perform day-to-day tasks related to business operations.
- Document technical procedures, solutions, and user guides for future reference.
- Monitor and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal or external IT teams.
- Configure and troubleshoot manufacturing printers and handheld scanning devices.
- Administer local Active Directory server, Linux ERP server, and Windows PDM server.

One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting base pay for this role is targeted to be between $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company. It is to be expected that candidates will come to us with different sets of skills and experiences and therefore will be paid at different points in the stated range. We recognize that the person(s) we select for hire may be less experienced or more experienced than the role as posted; if this is the case, any updates to available salary ranges will be communicated with candidates during the recruitment process.
