Job description

Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist — Kansas City, MO

$80,000–$130,000/year (base + bonuses + commission) • Full-time, M–F • Full benefits

Join American Hearing + Audiology — privately owned, 30+ years of changing lives through better hearing, beautifully equipped clinics across the Midwest, and a team that treats work like it should be: rewarding, supportive, and genuinely fun.

What you’ll earn

$80K–$130K/year including bonuses and commission, plus:

• Health, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance

• Short-term and long-term disability

• 401(k) with match

• 3 weeks PTO

• Professional development assistance

• Employee assistance program + employee discount

What you’ll do

Run comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations on calibrated, current equipment. Build patient-centered treatment plans through counseling and education. Recommend and fit the right hearing devices. Partner with your Regional Manager to keep the clinic thriving — financially, culturally, and clinically. Sell hearing aids and accessories using Integrity Selling. Operate with autonomy and an entrepreneurial mindset.

What you’ll need

Audiologists: Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology + valid Missouri audiology license in good standing, or a Kansas audiology license with willingness to obtain Missouri licensure within 6 months of offer date.

Hearing Instrument Specialists: Valid Missouri Hearing Instrument Dispensing license in good standing, or a Kansas HIS license with willingness to obtain Missouri licensure within 6 months of offer date. High school diploma required; related college degree preferred. 1+ year diagnostic testing and hearing aid dispensing preferred.

Both roles need strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Why our team stays

Supportive leaders with a real open-door policy. Providers who earn enough to support their families and their hobbies. A clinic culture where collaboration is the norm — within the office and across our other locations. We stay on the cutting edge and think outside the box in a fast-moving industry, and we have fun doing it.
