Our team provides exceptional hearing care services, and we are looking for a motivated and compassionate Hearing Aid Specialist / Dispenser to join our ranks. You will have access to the industrys latest equipment and technology, backed by research, to help you deliver the highest-quality care available to your patients.
An ideal candidate is proficient clinically and partners with the leading hearing aid manufacturers. We seek a candidate who can work independently, enjoys connecting with patients, and has dispensing and closing skills. As the candidate, you will be responsible for the daily audiological tasks, conducting community outreach projects, and working in a paperless environment.
Essential Functions :
- Conduct hearing test assessments and assist a patient in selecting the most suitable hearing aid technology based on their needs.
- Perform fittings and adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and performance of hearing aids.
- Demonstrate how to use, troubleshoot, and resolve any technical issues with hearing aids.
- Educate clients on pricing, proper care, and maintenance of patient hearing devices.
- Perform repairs, cleaning, and patient hearing aid checks.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.
- Partner with the team to strategize community outreach efforts to generate new patient referrals.
- Work with clinic staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Must travel to our Jackson location twice a week.
- Salary based on experience.
- State of Tennessee Hearing Aid Dispensing License
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Empathy and a genuine desire to help individuals with hearing impairment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Familiarity with hearing aid manufacturers and technology.
