Your Role on the Team
As a Maintenance Specialist at Invitation Homes, you will play a crucial role in performing high-quality maintenance work in our single-family rental homes, while ensuring exceptional customer service for our residents. Your responsibilities will include :
Completing maintenance service requests across various trades
Delivering outstanding customer service to enhance the living experience for all residents
Conducting regular ProCare visits to perform proactive maintenance and repairs
Educating residents on maintenance-related topics
Assessing property conditions during visits and notifying the management team about urgent issues
Reviewing technician reports to identify opportunities for improvement
Performing repairs in vacant properties, whether on the market or undergoing turn processes
Using and maintaining company-provided tools, materials, and vehicles responsibly
Performing additional duties as requested
Your Experience Includes
High School diploma or equivalent
OSHA 10 certification is required (new hires may complete this within 90 days of hire)
Experience in residential repairs and maintenance, or related fields
Understanding of residential construction and mechanical systems; ability to perform general repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC (minor), and appliances; training will be provided
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with adept verbal and written communication; multilingual abilities are a plus
Comfortable using mobile devices (i.e., iPad and / or iPhone) and various applications
A valid driver's license and automobile insurance, along with any other state-required licenses or certifications
Preferred certifications (not mandatory) include :
EPA Certification, Type I and II
HVAC Certification
CPO certification (pool)
Availability to work regularly, including weekends and holidays as needed
Ability to provide basic hand and power tools
Physical capability to perform tasks requiring frequent climbing, reaching, lifting, and operating standard maintenance equipment

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is : $19.11 - $33.13, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus, with actual compensation based on individual skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
