The Biller is responsible for accurate and timely billing for products and services. They interact with internal and external customers while gathering support data to ensure invoice accuracy and work through specific billing discrepancies. They provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective ownership and control of the billing function.
Job Description:
- Work closely with all sales leaders and account managers to ensure accurate billing.
- Preparing, issuing, and sending invoices and credit memos.
- Assist Accounting with month-end close and regular reporting requests.
- Reviewing invoices to ensure billing accuracy
- Communicating with clients and other departments, resolving issues, and providing clarifications.
- Work with the Credit Manager and team to ensure clients' billing accounts are set up correctly and according to their requirements.
- Help train fellow employees on various tasks.
- Preparing reports and meeting billing deadlines.
- Invoice uploads, invoice copies, missing invoices in Monarch.
- Quality checking all jobs and campaigns have shipped and are billed.
- Analyzing all billing procedures and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Work with the Accounting team to provide documentation during the audit process
- Other duties as assigned.
Pay Range: $70,304 - $77,000
Pay Statement: The national pay range for this role is listed in the job posting. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications of Position:
- AS Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; or,
- High school diploma + 2 years professional work experience.
- Strong Excel skills
Preferred Qualifications of Position:
- Printing background a plus.
- 2+ years' experience as a Biller or in a related role+
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data entry and accounting software programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and problem solve.
