We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment field mechanic to join our team. They will be responsible for performing all types of repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and backhoes. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will collaborate closely with our team of operators to ensure the equipment is in good working order and meets all safety standards.
Responsibilities :
- Perform regular maintenance on heavy equipment, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Repair and replace damaged or worn-out parts.
- Inspect equipment on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning and identify potential problem.
- Test equipment after repairs are made to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies and procedures
- Inventory supplies
