Repairs and maintains heavy construction, Rail-bound and other company equipment, including but not limited to dump trucks, cranes, and backhoes. Performs work in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, company standards and safety standards.
This position requires approximatley 30% travel. Lodging and per diem will be provided.
- Safety oriented, Self-motivated and positive attuite and ability to learn.
- Diesel and gas engine basic knowledge and ability to trouble shoot.
- Strong hydraulic systems back ground. Pumps, motors, valves, and hoses.
- Strong 12-24 Volt electrical systems.
- Strong drive train, fluid and mechanical, chain drives and gear systems.
- Strong welding, Arc, and mig experience. fabrication and repair.
- Mechanic to provide quality tools up to ¾ drive.
