Your opportunity : Heavy Equipment Operator
Heavy Equipment Operator – What You Will Do
You will work on-site at large commercial underground projects operating heavy equipment to excavate, grade and transport materials.
- Operate excavator (center, grade, speed), Loader (cut, grade, cleanup), Backhoe
- Prepare and maintain equipment for daily use (ie : fuel, grease)
- Calculate and set proper grades and elevations (ie : laser, floliner, grade stick, stringline)
- Change buckets and attachments
- Layout and install services, fire hydrants, storm drains, sewer, pipe connections and underground wet utilities
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans and specifications
- Perform equipment inspection and turn in written inspection equipment report
- Adhere to safety standards at all times including OHSA safe practices and company guidelines
You will work on-site on jobs sites throughout Southern California (limited overnight travel), with an anticipated schedule 7am to 3 : 30pm depending on the job site. You will drive your own vehicle to job sites (mileage reimbursement provided).

Heavy Equipment Operator- Benefits for YOU
Your compensation $34 to $54 per hour ($70,000 to $112,000 before overtime and additional bonuses!!!) hourly plus potential for overtime for all hours over 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week (some overtime is anticipated). Plus annual incentive compensation potential. We evaluate compensation for merit increases MONTHLY.
You will be provided with a comprehensive benefits package including employer sponsored medical, dental and vision insurance options, 401k with company match, paid time off, and paid holidays.
