Equipment Mechanic
Location : Barnsco Texas – Fort Worth, TX
Pay : $24–$29 per hour + Monthly Bonus Opportunities
Job Type : Full-Time
Job Summary
Barnsco Texas is seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of medium- and heavy-duty construction equipment. This role is essential in ensuring our customers receive safe, reliable, and well-maintained machinery. If you have strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this is the job for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on equipment
- Service and repair forklifts, tractors, trailers, and various construction machinery
- Perform required maintenance inspections and safety checks
- Complete preventive maintenance tasks (oil changes, lubrication, filter changes, etc.)
- Assist customers with equipment service needs
- Prepare and submit repair bids to the Equipment Service Manager
- Accurately complete all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively and consistently with the Equipment Service Manager
- Assist with training new employees
- Perform road calls and emergency service as needed
- Complete additional duties as assigned by the Equipment Service Manager
