Job Description :
The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery, including excavators, backhoes, motor graders, front-end loaders, and more. The operator will move, excavate, and grade earth, or erect structures as part of pipeline construction projects. This role requires collaboration with team members to ensure work is conducted safely and efficiently.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Safely operate construction equipment such as excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, and similar machinery to move earth or materials.
- Start the engine, shift gears, operate pedals, and use steering to navigate equipment.
- Use CAT and DEERE controls to move levers for lowering, tilting, and filling buckets, and transporting materials to work sites.
- Perform routine maintenance such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning equipment.
- Work closely with the foreman and other crew members to meet project goals and ensure safe trench excavation.
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Ensure tools and equipment are safely stored after use.
