As a Heavy Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting solid waste or recyclables and performing routine maintenance. This work is performed at our modern Solid Waste facilities, and you will be provided with everything you need including well maintained and regularly serviced trucks with access to on road support services.
This job posting is to create an eligibility register to fill future Heavy Truck Driver positions for the next three (3) months.
Requirements :
- Class A CDL with medical card
- Two years' experience operating a tractor-trailer or truck-trailer combination.

Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years experience operating a tractor-trailer or truck-trailer combination; OR, any equivalent combination of training and / or experience that provides the required knowledge and abilities. Must pass job related tests.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Because this job is considered safety sensitive, a drug screen test may be required prior to employment.

Employees report to a Transfer Station Operator and / or Operations Supervisor, as assigned. The work is routine and recurring in nature and is performed under minimum supervision. Specific instructions are given for unusual or non-routine tasks. The employee is responsible for the safe operation of his or her assigned vehicle.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The work is performed outdoors and employees may be required to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary. The employee must be able to change work locations with little to no prior notice.
