Multiple commodities are handled at this terminal, including lumber, steel, building materials, liquids, and aggregates. / liliAdditional Location Info : https : / / www.watco.com / service / terminals / glendale-az / / li / ulpEssential Duties and Responsibilities / pulliDrive truck to established destination to load / unload per customer requirements. / liliInspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition. / liliMaintain driver logs. / liliMaintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs. / liliRemove snow or other foreign materials from vehicle. / liliOperate and maintain trucks. / liliHelp, mentor, and train personnel. / liliPerform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements. / li / ulpQualifications / pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent / liliClass A CDL License - No manual restriction / liliMust be 18 years or older / lili1 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required / liliMust be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position. / li / ulpSkills and Abilities / pulliLearns from directions, observations, and mistakes and applies procedures using good judgment. / liliProvides outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations. / liliWorks well with a team, takes direction and follows work rules, as well as take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned. / liliRead and accurately interpret company documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and federal and state regulations. / liliCommunicate professionally and effectively. / liliMaintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance. / liliFlexibility required; ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays.
