Job description

A premier, global bulge bracket investment bank seeks two superstar registered funds attorneys to sit in its Dallas, TX office. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of relevant experience from a top law firm or in-house organization. Both hires will support the bank’s sophisticated registered funds department – one ETF-focused, the other BDC-focused. In this role, you will focus on the regulation, establishment, management, governance, distribution and marketing of registered funds, in addition to supporting various portfolio management teams in executing transactions for its investment funds and related accounts. Primary responsibilities also involve identification of legal and reputational risks, managing external counsel and involvement with investment and related committees.

This group covers over 100+ mutual funds, multi-manager funds, closed-end funds and interval funds. It is involved with ETFs, the bank’s BDC complex, distribution of registered products, business development, fund formation, cryptocurrency issues, regulatory reform / industry groups and ESG efforts. You will never be bored!

Compensation is competitive with significantly better hours than BigLaw. This is NOT a remote role. There is an expectation to sit in the bank’s Dallas office most days.
