A Snapshot of Your Day
Tender Manager will support proposal activity for Grid Solutions and will strategize execution plan by ensuring strong costing and risks for the bids submitted. The role will require close coordination and teamwork with Business Development, Engineering, Procurement and Project Management functions during the acquisition phase of assigned projects!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop sales proposals for Grid Solutions High Voltage Substation projects (Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) and Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS)) to determine proposal feasibility and ensure competitiveness in the EPC market.
- Develop, edit, and write original proposal responses and other sales-related documents.
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of assigned industry structure, applications, terminology, trends, and issues.
- Discover and understand customers’ primary business goals, operations, challenges, and requirements.
- Align and apply entire scope of Siemens Energy products, solutions, and services to meet the customers’ business goals.
- Validate and endorse the technical aspects of the solutions offered in the bids.
- Display a high level of critical thinking in bringing successful resolution to high-impact, complex, and / or cross-functional problems.
- Understand the Grid Solutions Utility market as it relates to customer requirements, opportunities, and competition.
