Job Description

• Project Scheduling : Develop comprehensive timelines for each project phase, ensuring alignment with established deadlines.
• Contract Negotiations : Engage with architects, vendors, contractors, and other professionals to secure favorable contract terms.
• Permit and Procurement Management : Obtain all necessary building permits and licenses, and coordinate the timely delivery of materials and equipment to job sites.
• Construction Oversight : Monitor on-site activities to ensure optimal worker productivity and adherence to all building and safety standards.
• Progress Coordination : Lead regular meetings with Superintendents and Subcontractors to evaluate quality, safety, progress against schedules, submittal requirements, and material deliveries-ensuring project goals and deadlines are consistently met.
• Resource Planning : Strategically review and schedule project workloads to effectively allocate personnel, materials, equipment, and manage subcontractor performance within budget and on time.
• Collaborative Relationship Building : Cultivate strong, cooperative relationships with Project Managers, Superintendents, Subcontractors, and Clients to foster a professional, team-oriented environment.

The Successful Applicant

• 5-10+ years commercial construction experience
• 2+ years Project Management experience
• Education, Municipal, or Public projects required
• Ideally commercial experience
• Preferably General Contractor experience
• Good leadership skills
• Be able to see a project through from start to finish
