Position Summary :
Ragle, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager for our Houston Heavy Highway Division . This role requires an individual with proven expertise in overseeing large-scale roadway, highway, and bridge construction projects. The successful candidate will lead a team focused on delivering exceptional project outcomes while adhering to strict safety, quality, and schedule requirements. Travel to surrounding areas may be required depending on project locations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Leadership : Direct and manage all aspects of construction projects from conception to completion, with a focus on highway, roadway, and bridge construction.
- Safety Oversight : Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and regulations, fostering a safe work environment on all project sites.
- Quality Control : Monitor and maintain high-quality standards, ensuring construction meets or exceeds project specifications.
- Schedule Management : Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6, including the creation of 3-week lookahead schedules. Track project milestones and performance against the baseline schedule.
- Cost Management : Regularly review and manage job costs, ensuring that projects stay within budget. Prepare and negotiate change orders as necessary.
- Stakeholder Coordination : Communicate and coordinate with inspectors, owner representatives, and other key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and timely issue resolution.
- Team Leadership : Supervise and develop a team of 1 to 5 direct reports, which may include Project Engineers, Superintendents, or Interns. Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- Resource Allocation : Plan and assign resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, ensuring optimal project execution. Anticipate project needs at least 6 months in advance.
- Payment Management : Ensure timely and accurate payments from project owners and ensure vendors and subcontractors are paid according to contract terms.
- Compliance : Maintain compliance with all company policies, practices, and safety procedures.
