Looking for dependable, responsible staff with strong communication skills to perform field inspector duties. Required to spend extensive time outdoors, perform mathematical calculations and prepare written reports. Must be computer literate and have a valid driver’s license. DOT experience and certifications preferred.

Construction Inspector duties include but not limited to :

• Confirming work performed by Contractor meets code and safety requirements.
• Research construction information and document findings in a timely manner and report discrepancies to the Project Manager / Engineer / Inspection Supervisor.
• As needed, inspects, measures and issues delivery receipts for materials purchased and or delivered and used for the project.
• Prepares regular reports including the compilation of necessary data including but not limited to staff materials, time, issues, concerns and other matters relating to a project. Ensures inspection reports are accurate and reflect work of Contractor. Must be able to read construction drawings to ensure proper materials and procedures are followed.
• Seeks approval from the Project Manager / Engineer / Inspection Supervisor for all changes to project scope or additional inspection services as needed or required.
