The Quality Inspector ensures that products meet established quality standards by conducting inspections, tests, and measurements at various stages of production. This role helps maintain compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
Inspect incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
Perform measurements using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM, or other precision tools.
Document and report inspection results, noting any deviations, defects, or nonconformities.
Work with production and engineering teams to identify root causes of quality issues and support corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, test data, and quality documentation.
Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, or other applicable quality standards.
Participate in audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Follow all safety, health, and environmental procedures.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in a related field preferred.
Experience in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection role.
Proficient in using precision measurement tools and reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings.
Familiarity with quality systems (ISO 1, IATF , AS0, or similar).
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate clearly with production, engineering, and management.
Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation.
