Hospice social worker Jobs in Anchorage, AK

Under the supervision of the Manager of Hospice, and the Hospice Medical Director this position provides social work services to hospice patients and their families in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, education and home programs to more effectively deal with the impact of terminal illness on individual and family functioning. The Hospice Social Worker assists patients and families in finding satisfactory solutions and / or goal adjustments needed to cope with the medical, social, emotional, and financial issues related to life limiting illness.

Required qualifications :

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Alaska Masters Social Worker License upon hire or
• Alaska Clinical Social Worker License upon hire
• 1 year Medical or bereavement social work experience
