Summary of This Role

Executes technical implementations and data conversions of varying size and complexity with enterprise-wide PPM transformation tools. Develops technical specifications, implementation plans, data migration strategies, and integration solutions. Performs detailed analysis of requirements to configure and optimize Planview modules. Responsible for ensuring data integrity, managing issue resolution, and supporting post-implementation evaluation. Engages with internal technical teams and stakeholders to support successful solution delivery.

What Part Will You Play?

  • Leads the executing, controlling, and reporting of the most complex and unique conversion/integration implementation efforts within the specific goals of building and delivering a particular product(s).
  • Configures Planview modules (e.g., portfolio, strategies) based on technical and business requirements.
  • Translates solution specifications into system configurations and process flows using Planview tools and APIs.
  • Performs data mapping, transformation, and validation for conversions involving multiple accounts and product lines.
  • Develops and maintains detailed technical documentation, including configuration logs, transformation logic, and implementation runbooks.
  • Utilizes Planview's integration framework to enable data exchange with external systems via file transfer, APIs, or middleware.
  • Tracks technical issues, resolutions, and metrics using Planview analytics and reporting features; supports proactive risk identification and mitigation.
  • Supports testing and validation efforts, including system, regression, and user acceptance testing, to ensure accurate Planview functionality post-deployment.
  • Adheres to defined change control processes for project assets such as requirements, configuration specs, and documentation.
  • Communicates system-level risks and dependencies to technical leads and stakeholders to support delivery milestones.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or related field
  • 5+ Years Relevant Experience in software implementation, system integration, or SaaS deployment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience implementing or configuring Planview or similar PPM platforms
  • Strong proficiency with SQL, MS Excel, and Planview analytics/reporting tools
  • Familiarity with resource management, capacity planning, and financial forecasting within a portfolio.
  • Understanding of agile, hybrid, and waterfall methodologies.
  • Experience with API integration and enterprise data migration
  • Familiarity with MS Project or other project tracking software
