Mezzanine Generalist

As a Mezzanine Generalist, you are responsible for recovering and resolving system faults to ensure that ES3 warehouse automation equipment is fully functioning.

Earn $19.00 per hour

Full time, 1st Shift

You will contribute by :

• Performing duties of a Warehouse Worker
• Utilizing Order Picker to pick products to fill customer orders or brings down pallets of reserve stock to replenish pick slots. Manually pick cases of product from warehouse racks to fill customer orders. Building pallets of products picked to fill the orders. Recording daily actions by use of Voice-command, pick sheets and Power-warehouse.
• Fitting products on a pallet; insuring heavy products on bottom to reduce damage, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
• May operate an electric pallet jack to load pallets of products on to delivery trucks. Compiling un-palletized products onto pallets.
• Performing duties of a Warehouse Clerk
• Performing duties of a Forklift Operator, including : maneuvering Stand-Up Forklift to put away or let down as many as twenty pallets per hour into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
• Manually lifting pallets to move into place. Manually stocking / picking cases of product into warehouse racks.
• Recording daily actions by use of Radio Frequency Computer Terminal.
• Performing duties of a Selector, including : selecting full case grocery / perishable / frozen items, fitting these items on a pallet, plastic wrapping them, and loading them onto a trailer.
• Performing duties of a Backhauler, including : operating an electric pallet jack or clamp machine to transport pallets of product off inbound trucks. Compiling un-palletized products onto pallets.
• Performing duties of a Porter, including : cleaning and maintaining warehouse aisles and product slots. Removing product from slots with the use of a pallet jack, cleaning slot with cleaning supplies and an electric scrubber, and replacing product. Cleaning warehouse offices, employee break areas, and restrooms.
• Must be able to work to the end of shift to include necessary overtime in order to meet business needs and willing to assist in other departments based upon business needs. Performing other job-related duties as assigned

Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift

Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more

Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead

Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height

Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
