Position Type : M-F 1130a-8p with alternating weekends
Description
The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the facility. This role includes cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and laundering linens and personal clothing in accordance with facility standards, infection control policies, and safety regulations.
Housekeeping Aide Responsibilities :
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and common areas according to schedule and procedures.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces as assigned.
- Follow proper infection control and isolation cleaning procedures.
- Use appropriate chemicals and cleaning solutions as directed.
- Report needed repairs or maintenance issues to supervisor.
- Maintain housekeeping cart and storage areas in a clean, organized manner.
- Provide respectful and courteous service to residents and staff
- Conduct weekly deep cleanings on resident rooms.
