Rady Children’s Hospital – San Diego has implemented an innovative, new Primary Care – Mental Health Integration Program through the Transforming Mental Health (TMH) initiative. This network of services provides accessible mental health services within the primary care medical home, and at our regional mental health specialty hubs across San Diego and Southern Riverside county. Our program is focused on supporting early identification, health promotion and illness prevention, in collaboration with our primary care pediatric partners. This role works closely with physicians to provide holistic care, monitor patient progress, and achieve treatment goals to improve both mental and physical health.

The Pediatric Clinical Psychologist provides direct patient care in assigned locations. The psychologist develops care plans, implements evidence-based / informed therapies, and testing following Rady Children's integrated behavioral health model and guidelines. The psychologist makes ongoing treatment recommendations and links children to community mental health resources / therapeutic services.
