  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.

Wignall Animal Hospital is looking for a Medical Director to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.
At Wignall Animal Hospital, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, you will have the support, tools, and resources to elevate your skills. As a hospital deeply rooted in the local community, you will experience the best of both worlds: a genuine local feel with the benefits of Thrive's national resources.
About The Hospital
Wignall Animal Hospital is a general practice located in Dracut, MA focused on providing general wellness, sick visits, soft tissue surgery, and laser therapy. We host a traveling board certified surgeon who performs orthopedic surgeries, as well as a cardiac specialist and an internist who provide ultrasound services at our facility. We also have a full-service boarding and dog daycare program. Our hospital has a collaborative team of 6 associate veterinarians; a great mix of seasoned, established veterinarians and newer graduates who work together to support one another and provide a sounding board for complex cases. Wignall has a well-established client base that includes families who have been with us for years as well as newer professionals moving into the area. We pride ourselves on providing the best experience possible for clients and patients with “low stress handling” techniques and RECOVER BLS and ALS certified staff. Our team has been very successful at promoting the Thrive Plus Membership program to our clients and leads our region in active memberships, allowing our Veterinarians to focus on offering the best medicine for our patients.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. We are closed on Sundays except for our boarding program. Our Saturdays are staffed by one DVM, shared by the Medical Director and the associate veterinary team on a rotating basis.

Serving the Merrimack Valley and the Greater Lowell area.
