Responsibilities

Manage and update patient records accurately in electronic health records (EHR) system.
Schedule and confirm appointments for patients through phone and virtual platforms.
Assist healthcare providers during telehealth consultations by obtaining patient history and vital signs as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding medication, treatment plans, and follow-up care instructions.
Coordinate with pharmacies to ensure timely medication refills and address prescription inquiries.
Provide administrative support, including documentation, data entry, and maintaining organized files.
Respond to patient inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assistant program preferred.
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) is a plus.
Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth technologies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare environment is advantageous.
