Benefits :Eastern Virginia Ear, Nose & Throat is seeking an enthusiastic Certified Medical Assistant for our ENT Department.
The Triage MA will handle returning patient calls, obtaining Authorizations, retrieving test results, provide back up and assistance to the ENT department medical assistants, this will include traveling to other offices on occasion.
The ideal candidate would have 1-2 years working with a physician and patient interactions. As well as :
- Verifying patient information, obtaining authorizations, medication refills, physician orders, and chart prep.
- Availability to travel to other offices to cover MA's.
- Assist with daily department duties, cleaning, restocking, ordering supplies, etc.
- Taking patient vitals, reason for visit medical history and documenting within the EMR system.
- Experience with In-Office procedures a plus.
- Flexibility to work with a busy ENT provider.
- Willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between our three locations
- Ability to work Monday- Friday 8am-5pm without issue.
We offer a full benefits package as well as PTO after 90 days.
