Responsibilities Orderly- looking for an energetic, pleasant, self-directed, accountable team player, able to anticipate the needs of nursing staff at the center. Position is responsible for case picking in the Operating Room for a variety of specialties. Duties include : Picking all supplies for cases the day before. Responsible for printing schedules for the OR, checking for add-ons or changes to schedule and updating supplies / location as necessary. Identifies each case supply bin, with date and time and appropriate procedure. Utilizes preference cards to ensure appropriate supplies are picked for each OR case. Communicates supply needs to Materials Management. Ensures OR hallway remains clean, organized, and non-sterile and sterile supplies are separated. Routinely checks schedule on electronic scheduling system for add-ons, updates, and changes to the OR schedule. Maintains cancelled case supplies on shelves and returns supplies if case is not rescheduled. Organizes cases throughout the day to ensure availability of supplies for upcoming cases. Assists staff with operating room turnover. Help transfer patients following proper procedures for lifting and moving patients. Make beds and perform housekeeping duties in facility. Restock and order supplies. Assist with patient care as needed. Discharge patients via wheelchair. Other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the center. Qualifications Certification : Basic Cardiac Life support High School graduate Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, etc. USD $16.00 / Hr. USD $20.00 / Hr.
