Hospital pharmacist Jobs in Brockton, MA

Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy required. Doctor of Pharmacy, or Bachelor of Science with Residency, or equivalent experience required. Must be a licensed pharmacist in the State of Massachusetts. Two years experience as a Registered Pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred. Good oral and written communication skills required. Knowledge of State and Federal regulations governing drug distribution. Complete knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics. Knowledge of sterile and aseptic procedures, compatibilities, drug interactions, drug therapy, toxicology and dosing parameters. Knowledge of literature and reference sources. Ability to instruct others. Must be able to review medication therapies for appropriate dose for patients from neonates to geriatrics. Knowledge of pharmacokinetic dosing, AHA / ACC Guidelines, IDS Guidelines, ACCP Guidelines, medication reconciliation, nutritional support, and adverse drug reaction reporting is required.
