Now Hiring a Secretary to join our growing team!
We are seeking an experienced Secretary to provide administrative and secretarial support to physicians. This role involves answering phones, taking messages, directing and responding to inquiries regarding departmental procedures, services, and programs. Additional responsibilities include scheduling patient appointments, completing hospital registration, maintaining office records, and providing coverage for other support staff when needed.
Job Responsibilities :
- Perform personalized and confidential secretarial and administrative duties under the direction of the attending physician.
- Schedule patients using the department's electronic scheduling system (MOSAIQ) for various services such as consultations, follow-ups, simulations, and procedures.
- Complete hospital registration of new patients and transfer demographic information to MOSAIQ.
- Prepare new patient charts for consultations, ensuring all required records are complete.
- Ensure all pertinent records and procedure / study results are available for follow-up appointments.
- Obtain demographic and financial information from patients and families.
- Establish and maintain office records, documents, and files.
- Photocopy materials and prepare correspondence as required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
