Grief Counseling Skills : Experience in grief or loss counseling is needed if you take on the Bereavement Coordinator role. Spanish Speaker? Awesome! Bilingual candidates are highly preferred. Join Our Team as a Volunteer Coordinator at Red Rock Hospice! 🌟
Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others? Do you have a heart for service and the ability to inspire volunteers? If so, we want YOU to join our caring and dynamic team at Red Rock Hospice!
What You'll Do : As our Volunteer Coordinator , you'll be the superhero behind the scenes, managing, training, and coordinating our amazing volunteer team. Here's how you'll make a difference :
- Recruit & Train : Lead exciting recruitment sessions (at least 3 a year!) to find, educate, and onboard volunteers who are ready to lend a helping hand.
- Volunteer Support : Ensure our volunteers have the tools they need through training, support, and supervision. Keep track of monthly stats and make sure the program is running smoothly.
- Team Player : Be part of interdisciplinary team meetings, ensuring our patients and families get the care and support they deserve.
- Community Outreach : Spread the word! Share the importance of hospice volunteer services with individuals and community groups.
- Bereavement Care : Oversee our Bereavement Program , providing grief counseling and support to families and caregivers after the loss of their loved ones.
