Note that scheduled meetings at the client and in the office will require in-person attendance. / ph3Responsibilities / h3pstrongResponsibilities : / strong / pulliAudit financial statements, quarterly financial information, and clients annual reports. / liliTake part in pre-audit planning to assess the risk of material misstatement of financial accounts to design effective audit procedures. / liliIdentify accounting and audit issues and perform research to solve issues. / liliResponsible for testing internal controls, policies, and procedures and making recommendations. / liliPerform audits under Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) auditing standards, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX). / liliProactively build relationships and communicate with clients and associates. / liliTeach, train, and develop incoming staff / interns. / li / ulh3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / h3pstrongQualifications : / strong / pulliBachelors degree in accounting or related field required. Must meet the educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam. / liliCPA certification preferred.
