Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping staff.

• Ensure resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards.

• Implement and monitor infection control and environmental safety procedures.

• Conduct regular inspections of facility areas to maintain quality standards.

• Manage housekeeping supplies, inventory, and budget.

• Develop and maintain cleaning schedules and protocols.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.

• Coordinate with nursing, maintenance, and administrative departments.

• Address resident and family concerns related to housekeeping services.

• Maintain documentation, reports, and staff performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Experience in housekeeping or environmental services, preferably in healthcare or long-term care.

• Supervisory or management experience required.

• Knowledge of infection control practices and healthcare sanitation standards.

• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
