Job description - Public Attendant for New Hotel

Starting pay is $16 / hour.

What you will be doing

Cleans public areas of the resort, stocks linen rooms and storage areas with clean linens, and picks up and delivers guest items.

• Supports the Room Attendants by ensuring guest room supplies are well stocked, trash and debris are removed, and other cleaning duties are performed as assigned.
• Keeps all guest corridors neat, vacuumed, and dusted.
• Keeps all service elevator landings, stairwells, and linen storage rooms clean by sweeping, mopping, and dusting the areas.
• Assists Housekeepers as required. Helps move beds and furniture, turns mattresses, removes or hangs sheers and drapes.

Picks up and delivers guest request items on a timely basis such as Irons, Ironing boards, Cribs, and Roll-aways

This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in cleaning, possesses a keen attention to detail, enjoys staying active throughout the day, and excels in a self-directed work environment. You should be comfortable with continuous movement, which includes bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and handling items weighing up to 25-30 pounds.

Looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working hard and having fun. Must pass Background Check.

In this role you need to be flexible on hours working, some days may be longer than others depending on the needs of the hotel.
